Growing Great Fruit Trees (with COCC)

Edible home landscapes are becoming increasingly popular and fruit trees make an ideal centerpiece. Great for the novice and experienced gardener, the class teaches how to grow great fruit trees. Topics include soil prep, the best cultivars for Central Oregon, fertilizing and protecting your trees from insects and disease. Bring a coat for a tour of the CHS Garden Center and discover the best pruning techniques. This is a hand-on class and students with pruners are encouraged to bring them.

This event requires registration through COCC and a $19 fee.
