Get landscaping tips from licensed landscape architect Eileen Obermiller as she teams with CHS Garden Center to host a free class on landscaping like a pro. Eileen, the owner of Dappled Earth, joins CHS Garden Center for a free class on landscaping techniques used by professionals and how you can use them to spruce up your yard.
Learn how to layout paths, the proper spacing of plants and the importance of knowing what is underground. The class will be followed by a “Walk & Talk” in the nursery: Deciphering plant tags. Eileen and Karen McCarthy, CHS Garden Center assistant manager, will discuss how to property read plant tags to determine growing requirements, plant size and other useful information to ensure you purchase the right plant for your location.
Eileen specializes in creating beautiful landscapes that reflect both her client’s tastes and functional needs. She also stresses the importance of using plants best suited to the landscape’s environment and encourages the use of native plants for sustainability. She has nearly 20 years of landscape and land use planning experience. Dappled Earth provides a variety of landscape services to clients throughout Central Oregon.
